Job description

About OpenFx

OpenFX is on a mission to move money as freely as data, unrestricted by time zones, banking hours, or legacy systems. We are building the infrastructure that will power the next generation of cross-border payment systems for institutions. The team's execution has been exceptional, and we're scaling at a remarkable pace. Our stellar early team comes with experience in companies like J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, FalconX, Paypal, Affirm, Polygon, Kraken, Nium & others. We're backed by Accel, Lightspeed, NfX and other top-tier investors.

The role:

We are hiring a senior talent partner and advisor, dedicated to hiring for the Product team. The product team includes product management, product design, product operations, product analytics and adjacent roles. Many of these are senior, specialised searches for people who have shipped payments, fintech or infrastructure products in a regulated industry, spanning the US, India, UK / Europe and the Middle East. You own every product search end to end, from intake with the hiring manager to a signed offer, in whichever geography the role sits. This is a hands-on sourcing and closing role, not a generalist or people ops role.

What you will do:

  • Own the full hiring lifecycle for all product roles across geographies: intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, feedback loops, offer negotiation and close
  • Run outbound-led sourcing for product talent (LinkedIn, referrals, product and fintech communities), with the ability to find strong product builders who are not actively looking
  • Partner closely with product leaders to define role requirements, calibrate on profiles and hold a high bar on senior hires
  • Navigate the differences in hiring across markets: talent pools, compensation norms, notice periods, visa and relocation considerations
  • Run a tight, well-communicated candidate experience and keep hiring managers accountable to interview timelines
  • Keep Greenhouse (and any ATS in use) clean and current for your roles: pipelines, scorecards, stage data
  • Manage agencies on product searches where used, and keep agency spend under control
  • Report weekly on pipeline health, pass-through rates and time to hire for product roles

What we are looking for (Must Haves):

  • 10 to 12 years in talent acquisition, with at least 6 years recruiting product roles at a high-growth startup or scale-up
  • Proven track record of closing senior and specialised product hires (PMs, product designers, product leads) through outbound sourcing, not agency hand-offs
  • Experience hiring in the US plus at least one of our other core regions: India, UK / Europe or UAE / Middle East
  • Can assess product talent credibly: understands what strong product managers and designers in payments, fintech or infrastructure look like and can screen for it
  • Comfortable with Greenhouse or a comparable ATS
  • Clear, direct communicator who is comfortable engaging with the hiring managers and managing senior stakeholders

What we are looking for (Good to have):

  • Fintech, payments or crypto background
  • Experience hiring product talent for B2B or infrastructure products in a regulated industry
  • Agency management experience
  • Prior in-house experience at a Series A or B company

What we offer

Competitive salary and benefits, equity, and a fast-moving fintech environment where your hires shape what the company builds.
