About Aonic

Aonic is deploying AI to drastically reduce the cost of living. Inflation is the number one concern in America, and AI has created trillions in value but the benefits of this technology have not been felt by the average American. We are building Aonic Club to change that: the club contract Costco proved over four decades, rebuilt online and AI-native - an annual membership that gets you elevated everyday products at cost, starting with functional nutrition.

We make the products ourselves and run sourcing, content, forecasting and service with AI agents, which deletes the 30-40% of retail and marketing layers inside every consumer price. All of our profit is the membership fee, so the savings go to members, not margins. Costco passes savings through scale; we pass them through AI.

Our ambition is extreme: 40,000 members in our first twelve months, then 1 million members and a $10 billion company within a few years built by fewer than ten people with extreme leverage: AI agents running the operations, a community as the channel, and the AI dividend delivered to everyday America. Aonic is shifting from a CPG company to a tech company, and you are the face people will associate with that shift.

About the Role

Aonic is looking for a Social Host to be the on-camera face of our social channels. This is a hands-on, in-person role. You'll show up ready to shoot, perform, and react in the moment across a mix of formats, from tightly scripted bits to pure improv.

What You'll Do

  • Be the face of Aonic Club across social, the person people recognize in our videos
  • Shoot talking-head content, scripted skits, and street interviews where you approach strangers cold
  • Work with the content team on scripts, talking points, and shoot-day logistics
  • Show up on time and camera-ready for scheduled shoot days
  • Hold a cadence of roughly 15 pieces of organic content per week
  • Travel occasionally for events and off-site shoots

What We're Looking For

  • Proven reach. 10M+ total organic views, from posts that repeatedly hit the millions rather than one viral outlier
  • Experience. 2+ years creating social-first video content
  • Portfolio. A body of work that stops the scroll
  • On-camera presence. Natural and authentic on camera, able to carry a scene, an interview, or a bit on your own
  • Improvisation. Quick-witted and funny in the moment, comfortable initiating with strangers and rolling with unpredictable answers
  • Direction and delivery. You deliver written lines so they land like your own words, and adjust tone, pacing, or delivery across multiple takes without losing energy
  • Format instinct. Deep, real fluency in the platforms, the trends, and the formats, not just as a viewer but as someone who thinks in them
  • Resourcefulness. You make great work without perfect conditions, scrappy by default
  • Reliability. Punctual and dependable on committed shoot days
  • On-site in San Francisco. Based here, or able to work here 2x/week.

To Apply Please include:

  • Your resume
  • Links to your social profiles
  • A short on-camera sample or reel introducing yourself (one minute or less). A casual selfie video works fine, as long as it shows your personality.
