Now we are looking for a SW Architect to join the Cato team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a growing startup and make a real impact on the future of our product while playing a critical role in the design and development of our SASE solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in setting and executing the product architecture and roadmap, maintaining scalability, reliability, productivity, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to understand and analyze market needs and map them to technical terms of our architecture.
- Architect new features and systems to meet functional and non-functional requirements - from management application & services, through our massive cloud backbone and to the multi-platform client products.
- Act as a bridge between R&D groups, identifying opportunities and gaps and aligning on common concepts and technical vision.
- Be an insider and trusted advisor to different R&D groups and teams, through a hands-on approach and technical excellence.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and product differentiation.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in design & implementation of complex software systems
- Strong proficiency with microservices and SaaS products, as well as low-level Networking or Security infrastructure.
- Leading large-scale solutions from product definitions to low level design of components and implementation.
- Driving changes in adopting technologies / refactoring / processes / development infrastructure – from envisioning (coming with the agenda) to actual execution of the strategy.
- Excellent analytical, systemic thinking and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
