The Role

As a Backend Engineer on the Engineering team, you will build the core systems that power our AI platform. Our team develops the backend infrastructure and APIs that enable Studio, Vibe, and Vibe Code, shaping how millions of users and developers interact with our technology. Your work will directly affect the reliability, performance, and scalability of our products.

We focus on creating robust, high-performance systems that support authentication, billing, AI tooling, and developer experience. By joining us, you will contribute to a platform that enables both internal teams and external users to build and deploy AI applications.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend features and APIs that power our AI platform.
  • Ensure high performance and reliability across distributed systems serving millions of users.
  • Build and improve systems for authentication, billing, AI tooling, and developer experience.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable architectures to support our growing products.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams on deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Solve complex engineering challenges and integrate new technologies into production.
