About Us
Asula is a bitcoin company focused on building the next generation of financial products at the intersection of bitcoin, blockchains, stablecoins and finance.
Currently we’re working on Dawn, our mobile interface that allows users to save and grow their assets through bitcoin and stablecoins. Beyond Dawn, we're working on making bitcoin swaps and credit available to holders of all sizes through onchain protocols.
Role
For this role we're seeking high horsepower individuals who are interested in ramping up on onchian finance and crypto. Responsibilities for this role would include:
- Design new product features and services in collaboration with other engineers on the team.
- Implement scalable and resilient services: APIs, stateful services, and blockchain data pipelines that can handle real-world demand.
- Deploy services end-to-end including maintenance, monitoring and real-world testing.
Qualifications
- Fluent in at least one strongly-typed backend language (Rust, Go or C++) and comfortable working across frameworks, APIs, and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of CS fundamentals like algorithms, data structures, networking and operating systems.
- Capacity to learn fast and take ownership.
- Excited about bitcoin, open finance, and the idea of building a new financial stack from first principles.
Nice to haves
- Prior experience with cloud providers specifically AWS.
- Prior experience using DeFi protocols and deploying onchain smart contracts.
Why work at Asula Labs
- High-impact role in a micro-team where each engineer owns critical infrastructure
- Remote-friendly work environment (remote and in-office hybrid options in Dubai)
- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge bitcoin and blockchain problems from day one
- Flat hierarchy and startup autonomy (founder-led, 4-person team)
- Perks not explicitly listed, but likely includes flexibility and equity in an early-stage venture
