About Binarly

Binarly is redefining supply chain security, addressing critical vulnerabilities in firmware and beyond. In today’s interconnected world, every component in the supply chain—from hardware to software—represents a potential risk. Founded by Alex Matrosov, the former Chief of Offensive Research at NVIDIA, Binarly combines world-class expertise with cutting-edge AI-driven technology to provide comprehensive visibility, proactive threat detection, and automated remediation across the supply chain. Trusted by leading enterprises, manufacturers, and government agencies, Binarly empowers organizations to mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and secure their operations with confidence. The Problem Supply chain security is one of the most pressing challenges in today’s cybersecurity landscape:

  • Firmware Vulnerabilities: Attackers exploit firmware as a hidden entry point, bypassing traditional security tools.
  • Lack of Visibility: Organizations struggle to gain clear insights into the security of their supply chain, from firmware to software dependencies.
  • Compliance Challenges: Navigating regulatory frameworks while ensuring secure procurement and operations is increasingly complex. Binarly addresses these challenges by providing actionable insights and solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing workflows, helping organizations safeguard their operations and maintain trust in their supply chains.

The Role

We’re seeking a Front-End Lead to shape the user experience of Binarly’s cutting-edge platform. As the technical owner of our front-end systems, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an intuitive and powerful interface for security professionals tackling the most critical supply chain risks. This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about front-end development, design systems, and building elegant, scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Front-End Development: Own the architecture, development, and deployment of Binarly’s front-end systems, ensuring best-in-class performance and usability.
  • Define User Experience Standards: Collaborate with designers and product managers to create a seamless, intuitive user experience for our customers.
  • Drive Technical Excellence: Establish and enforce front-end development best practices, including code quality, testing, and scalability.
  • Mentor and Grow the Team: Guide and mentor front-end engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with back-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of APIs and back-end services.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Evaluate emerging front-end technologies and frameworks to ensure Binarly’s platform remains modern and competitive.
  • Optimize for Performance: Monitor and improve front-end performance, ensuring a responsive and reliable user experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of front-end development experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in modern front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Proven ability to create and manage scalable, maintainable design systems.
  • Experience building complex, data-rich web applications with a focus on performance and responsiveness.
  • Familiarity with API integration and RESTful services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Bonus Points
  • Experience in cybersecurity or supply chain security domains.
  • Familiarity with visualization libraries such as D3.js or Chart.js.
  • Experience with WebSocket and real-time data streaming.
  • Contributions to open-source front-end projects.
  • Startup experience or exposure to fast-paced environments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary in a high-growth startup.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Flexible, remote-first work environment.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
