Job description
About Mistral
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems—across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector—co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms. We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
The Role
As a direct business partner to our Solutions team—including Deployment Strategists and Applied AI Engineers—you will work closely with Solutions leadership to roll out Mistral’s Industry Verticals & Capabilities framework across pre-sales and post-sales activities. You will translate the framework into a scalable operating model by defining processes, governance, playbooks, KPIs, and resourcing plans; coordinating Vertical and Capability owners; and embedding reusable approaches into customer engagements. You will also analyze performance and delivery capacity to continuously improve execution. This role is critical to turning our go-to-market strategy into repeatable action—aligning customer priorities, technical expertise, and delivery resources to improve the efficiency and impact of our Solutions organization and accelerate the value Mistral delivers to customers.
What You Will Do
Technical Go-to-Market Execution
- Partner with Solutions leadership to orchestrate and support the industry verticals & capabilities matrix motion, helping translate strategic GTM definitions into repeatable execution
- Help codify and scale vertical and capability playbooks (ICP assumptions, priority use cases, delivery approaches, reusable assets) to enable re-use across accounts
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Vertical and Capability owners to align on prioritization, resourcing, and enablement for pre-sales and post-sales engagements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales teams, product development, and revenue operations to align technical implementation capabilities with customer needs
- Support the development of professional services offerings and technical engagement models that maximize customer success
- Collaborate with product & engineering teams to ensure Solutions team feedback is incorporated into the product roadmap
- Help prepare materials for executive reviews highlighting technical implementation successes and challenges
Data-Driven Decision Support
- Identify and operationalize the right metrics to optimize the Solutions team impact on customer success & revenue
- Create and maintain reporting mechanisms around technical implementation KPIs
- Synthesize tangible, strategic recommendations that can be deployed cross-functionally
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in strategic operations, operations, chief of staff within technical sales, solutions engineering, or professional services environments.
- Strong ability to bring structure to ambiguity and drive complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Proven track record in optimizing processes, impacting business KPIs, and aligning resources with business priorities.
- Exceptional negotiation and diplomacy skills: ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and align competing priorities.
- Hands-on, execution-focused mindset with a bias for action in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Technical acumen and AI fluency: understanding of AI implementation, use cases, and scaling challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Fluency in English (native level); additional European languages are a plus.
