Overview

As a solution architect on our presales team, you will work closely with our sales teams, marketing teams on key projects, and other departments that may be focused on growing AvePoint’s go-to-market solutions that support AvePoint’s go-to-market initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, presenting, and demonstrating solutions that address our customers’ business challenges and objectives. You will also provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, ensuring a smooth and successful customer journey.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers, prospects, and channel partners to understand their business needs and pain points and propose solutions that leverage AvePoint’s solutions centered around AvePoint’s go-to-market initiatives.
  • Lead new and renewal opportunities as the Strategic Lead while working with appropriate departments to support meeting objectives and customer goals.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and proposals that display the value and benefits of our solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams, delivery resources, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination of sales activities and deliverables.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to customers and internal teams on best practices, architecture, design, and implementation of our solutions.
  • Support marketing initiatives and events remote or in person that will drive customer growth opportunities.
  • Partner with sales enablement teams to ensure that those that impact the customer lifecycle journey can hold consistent conversations while influencing outcomes.
  • Support internal product vision initiatives where Power Platform is a focus.
  • Externally you will be a solution evangelist, yet internally at AvePoint you will focus on becoming a product expert.

Measures of Success

  • Customer Engagement: Measure the number of customer interactions, and the quality of feedback received. This metric aligns with the responsibility of engaging with customers and understanding their needs.
  • Presentation Impact: Track the number of presentations delivered, audience engagement, and follow-up actions taken by prospects. This is related to the responsibility of creating and delivering compelling presentations.
  • Sales Collaboration: Evaluate the effectiveness of collaboration with sales teams by measuring the alignment of sales activities and the success rate of coordinated efforts.
  • Technical Leadership: Assess the impact of technical guidance provided to customers and internal teams through success stories, case studies, and customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Monitor the frequency and reach of insights shared about industry trends and updating supporting teams.
  • Marketing Support: Quantify the contribution to marketing initiatives by tracking event participation, lead generation, and content creation.
  • Sales Enablement: Measure the consistency and influence of conversations held by sales enablement teams on customer lifecycle journeys.
  • Internal Initiative Support: Gauge the support provided to internal AI and product vision initiatives by tracking participation and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a solution architect, technical consultant, or similar role in the software industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in AI, machine learning, natural language processing, and related technologies.
  • Skilled in Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365 platforms and services.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, as required by the business.

The Salary Range for this role is $190,000 - $220,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO), and depending on the role, bonuses, commissions, or equity (RSUs).
