At Equal1, we’re not just building the next generation of quantum technology; we strive to be the first to bring it to market. As a cutting-edge quantum computing startup, we offer a unique environment where scientific discovery meets commercial innovation. Our international team spans offices in Dublin, the Netherlands, the US, Canada, and Romania, bringing together deep expertise across quantum, hardware, software, theory, and systems engineering.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are always interested in connecting with highly talented and energetic people across a broad range of quantum-related disciplines, including:
- Quantum algorithms & theory
- Quantum applications (industry use cases, hybrid quantum-classical workflows, benchmarking)
- Measurements & characterisation (device testing, calibration, automation, data analysis)
- Cryo-electronics & control (RF, analog/mixed-signal, low-power design)
- Systems engineering (integration, architecture, trade-offs)
- Materials & device physics (spin qubits, semiconductor processes, modelling)
- Sales & business development (enterprise customers, strategic accounts, partnerships)
- Solutions/field applications engineering (technical pre-sales, demos, PoCs, customer onboarding)
- Product & program management (roadmaps, cross-team delivery, customer requirements)
WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR APPLICATION
To help us route your profile quickly, please include:
- Your CV (or LinkedIn profile)
- Your area(s) of interest (e.g., algorithms, measurement, RF, systems, software)
- Preferred location(s) and work authorisation status
- A brief note on your most relevant projects or publications (if applicable)
If you’re excited by the opportunity to help bring quantum computing to market, we encourage you to apply. We’re always keen to meet exceptional people.
