Job description
To further strengthen our Automotive Digital Product Marketing Team (Automotive MCU) at our Düsseldorf location we are looking for a pro-active and results-oriented Product Marketing Engineer (f/m/d) to drive the growth of our next Generation Automotive MCU Products. We are open to candidates with 5- 10 years of experience up to staff level.
What you'll do
- Support of the company's Automotive Microcontrollers
- Collection, definition, and close follow-up on Global customer requirements
- Coordination of projects with dedicated major automotive customers
- Work with internal marketing teams and design section to define and follow-up on roadmaps for Renesas microcontroller products
- Work with internal 1st and 2nd level support teams for the company's products
- Work with internal sales teams to support customer promotion strategy and execution
- Coordination and effective information exchange with the company's location in Japan
- Reporting of performance indicators (KPI) to upper management
- Develop and drive market introduction plan (e.g., lead customers, lead market segment/application, etc.) worldwide
- Ensure availability and drive responsible departments for the complete “product package (documentation, starter kits, flyer, software) for market introduction including training of the sales force for assigned products
- Produce public marketing materials such as whitepapers, press releases, webinars, etc.
Qualifications
- Graduate in electronic engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in relevant product marketing in semiconductor industry
- Experience in the automotive market, good understanding of Carmakers and Tier 1 requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of embedded Microcontrollers and Eco-systems
- Proven track record of Product definition and requirement management
- Good understanding of relevant marketing concepts (Go-To-Market plans) and customer expectations
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented and ability to work in a multicultural and agile environment
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and German (preferable)
- Work with software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS-Office)
