Job description

The Role

We’re looking for a TikTok Channel Manager to own our organic TikTok channel end-to-end. This is a high-ownership role for someone who is equal parts creator, strategist, and channel operator, and who wants the freedom to shape how a brand shows up in culture.

You will set the channel’s creative point of view and make the work yourself, turning brand priorities, product stories, creator and customer voices, and cultural moments into platform-native content. You will own every stage: insight, concept, brief, script, shoot, edit, publish, and learn. Your mandate is to build a distinctive presence people recognize within seconds and choose to follow, share, and return to. You will develop original series, move quickly on the right trends, and create content that is entertaining or useful before it is promotional.

You will be accountable for day-to-day channel health and organic growth, using audience response and performance data to sharpen the creative system. You will report to the Director of Content and be the organization’s go-to TikTok expert.

What You’ll Own

  • Channel management: Own the organic TikTok channel end-to-end, including programming, publishing cadence, channel hygiene, and day-to-day channel health.
  • Trend mining: Stay ahead of platform features, algorithm shifts, competitor activity, internet culture, trends, and formats; identify relevant opportunities early and turn insight into published content at speed.
  • Creative standards: Set and uphold a recognizable standard for channel voice, art direction, storytelling, humor, hooks, pacing, captions, sound, and recurring formats.
  • Talent direction: Be a confident on-camera presence when the idea calls for it, and direct employees and Linker partners to deliver natural, compelling performances.
  • Creative development and production: Lead each post from insight and concept through brief, script, shoot, edit, packaging, publishing, and final quality control, balancing speed with craft.
  • Project management: Build and run the operating system behind the channel, including the content calendar, briefs, schedules, budgets, UGC asset delivery & content rights, and internal production workflows.
  • Performance and optimization: Turn channel performance and audience insights into clear creative actions.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with Creator, Product Marketing, and Growth Teams to align priorities, unlock contributors, and identify organic winners for amplification.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5 years growing an organic TikTok channel or running a high-volume short-form video program for a brand, agency, or your own audience.
  • A portfolio that proves both craft and impact: work you personally concepted, produced, filmed, directed, or edited, plus examples of accounts you grew or posts that outperformed and why.
  • The range to operate as strategist and maker: you can set the plan, manage a high-volume pipeline, make the work, and learn from the results.
  • Expert-level short-form production and editing skills in CapCut, Premiere, or equivalent tools, with the ability to move quickly using a lean, mobile-first setup.
  • Deep TikTok fluency across culture, platform mechanics, features, algorithms, trends, distribution, retention, community behavior, and organic growth.
  • A strong creative point of view and sharp visual taste, with the ability to translate brand and product stories into content people want to watch, not advertisements.
  • Experience appearing on camera or directing talent, plus experience sourcing and managing creators, influencers, or UGC partners through briefs and deliverables.
  • Cultural judgment and a test-and-learn mindset: you know what matters, when a trend fits, and how analytics and AI-enabled workflows can sharpen the next idea.
