In this role, you will own the tactical playbook, drive continuous improvement, and manage a team of dedicated Logistics Specialists. Success requires strong leadership, problem-solving, self-governance, and a passion for customer relationship management. This position is hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days in-office) and based in Rogers, Arkansas, with standard business hours (7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM). Please note: During peak surge seasons, higher volumes require longer days and occasional weekend or after-hours support.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the daily execution of transportation operations for the dedicated account, running the tactical playbook daily and remaining self-sufficient.
  • Ensure key operational activities—including load coverage, 95% on-time service, dray team load building, and delivery updates—are completed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor team performance and hold team members accountable for service expectations, operational execution, and company policies.
  • Train, coach, and develop your team through regular 1:1s, performance reviews, mentoring, and ongoing feedback while actively encouraging team morale.
  • Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, dedicated carrier managers, 3PL teams, and internal partners through proactive communication and issue resolution (being an over-communicator).
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and resolve issues related to service, process execution, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
  • Review payment processing and collaborate with Accounts Payable and OS&D teams to ensure timely approvals and execution.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance daily/weekly reporting and documentation to ensure operational processes are roadmapped, repeatable, and transparent.
  • Strategically identify opportunities to reduce costs and operational waste for the customer.
  • Utilize Transportation Management Systems and reporting tools—including all TMS Modules (Execution, Error Correction, Financials, Dock Scheduler), the BNSF website, Retail Link, Excel/Google Sheets, and Tableau—to support daily execution and continuous improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of relevant transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and reporting tools, including comfort extracting and organizing data in Excel, Google Sheets, or Tableau.
  • Strong self-motivation with exceptional organization, time management, and self-governance skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Previous experience supporting large-scale CPG manufacturing supply chains.
  • Familiarity across major transportation modalities (Intermodal, Truckload, LTL, and Rail), plus Dock Scheduler.
  • Strong data mining and analytical experience, including data extraction, modeling, and visualization using tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Demonstrated strengths in analytical problem-solving, process optimization, and customer relationship management.
