Job description

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Senior/Lead .NET Developer in Ukraine, Poland, or Croatia.

ABOUT PROJECT

The project's main goal is to develop a sub-team to build an advanced biotechnology platform for next-generation patient therapies. The team's focus is on developing workflow validation capabilities that verify process correctness using AI and generate real-time guidance and instructions for operators.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience with .NET / C#
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles
  • Experience designing distributed systems and microservice architectures
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns and modern development practices
  • Experience with event-driven and asynchronous programming
  • Experience with TDD and automated testing approaches
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of Clean Code principles, SOLID, and Dependency Injection
  • Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level of English

ADDITIONAL FOR LEAD

  • 8+ years of experience with .NET / C#
  • Proven leadership experience in software engineering teams
  • Ability to drive architectural and technical decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience collaborating directly with customer architects and engineering leaders
  • Experience mentoring engineers and conducting technical reviews
  • Ability to refine complex project scopes and define software design approaches
  • Experience implementing AI SDLC practices and understanding AI Native development approaches

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead technical design, architecture, and implementation of the system
  • Drive the technical vision of the solution and define implementation approaches for new capabilities
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate the development team
  • Take ownership of technical decisions and help define implementation strategy
  • Drive planning sessions and ensure delivery milestones are met
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into implementable solutions
  • Create technical specifications, architecture documentation, and implementation plans
  • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and promote engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies
  • Support feature discovery and work effectively when requirements are still evolving
