WHO YOU ARE
We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience who thrives on solving problems,eliminating ineƯiciencies, and improving processes through automation. You’re detail-oriented, analytical,and equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to troubleshoot issues or stepping back to guide and mentor others. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Product and Operations to automate transaction workflows, uncover bugs, support root cause analysis, and may also lead a small team of Business Analysts to drive continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Partner with Product & Operations to identify manual, repetitive transaction processes that can beautomated
- Document business requirements and functional specifications for automation of transaction flows
- Analyze and investigate system/data issues, supporting bug identification and resolution tracking
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure business needs are accurately translated into automated solutions
- Support UAT and validate outcomes for automation fixes or improvements
- Create documentation, workflows, and SOPs for automated processes
- Use data to measure automation success, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
- Write and run basic SQL queries to support analysis, validation, and troubleshooting
- Mentor and guide junior Business Analysts; may manage a small BA team
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst (Insurance, BFSI, or SaaS domain experience preferred)
- Prior exposure to business process automation, workflow tools, or transaction automation initiatives
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills; ability to dig into issues and identify patterns
- Strong experience in bug tracking, triaging, and cross-functional collaboration with QA/Engineering teams
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel/Sheets, and process mapping platforms
- Clear communication skills for working across business and technical teams
- Basic SQL skills for data extraction, validation, and analysis
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and manage junior team members.
