Job description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to work in close partnership with the Contract Logistics Manager in Hong Kong.  In this position, you will be responsible to identify and approach eCommerce & contract logistics customers to promote for eCommerce & contract logistics services,  including warehousing, distribution, VAS, e-fulfillment services and courier solutions (domestic & international) in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition: Proactively "hunt" for new leads among eCommerce sellers, brands, and platform consolidators to build a robust sales pipeline; Solution Design: Analyze client needs to recommend tailored logistics solutions, including warehousing, last-mile delivery, and cross-border shipping; Account Management: Maintain relationships with existing key accounts to ensure client retention and identify upselling opportunities; Market Analysis: Keep track of market trends to provide strategic insights to management; Reporting & CRM: Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and deliver weekly updates on sales KPIs and revenue targets; Experience Required: Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years in sales or business development, particularly within 3PL/4PL, international courier, or eCommerce fulfillment sectors; eCommerce Expertise: Deep understanding of B2C eCommerce models and the operations of major platforms, marketplaces (e.g., Shopify, Shopline, HKTVmall, etc) and social media selling; Preferred similar position and working experience in a courier or logistics company.

Qualifications & Skill Required: Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin; Comprehensive understanding of Cross-border eCommerce and warehouse e-fulfillment process; Strong ability to negotiate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and present complex business cases to senior executives; Familiarity with WMS/OMS and how they integrate with eCommerce platforms; Strong customer network and own client portfolio; Dynamic personality with strong presentation and communication skills; Self-motivated and sales-driven mindset; Willingness to travel across China for business visits.
