Qualifications/Role Details
- Active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; Important for these individuals to be familiar with church organization, callings, and vernacular
- Ability to successfully pass a background check- Kiin will run domestic or international background checks, whichever is applicable, using Simpliverified on behalf of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The CRD wants to ensure anyone interacting with youth are safe and legally eligible to do so.
- Ability to conduct quality interviews; Strong preference for familiarity or previous work experience in quantitative research
- Genuine ability to connect with people
- Ability to listen (not talk over interviewees)
- Ability to stay focused on the provided questions (not just asking questions in the moment)
- Dependability (tight timelines for project, little to no wiggle room for mistakes)
- Ability to connect with youth (this is challenging; finesse navigating high power differentials)
- Local to the countries in which they’ll be interviewing; intimately familiar with the country and its culture; doesn’t feel like an outsider
