Come join us, and let the world feel your work As a Copyright Asset Screener, you will play a crucial role in the Digital Rights Management team. The nature of our business requires us to be great at managing the rights to our or our client’s music on online platforms like YouTube, that’s why we need you! You will work with, and become an expert on, YouTube’s rights management system Content ID. Your main responsibility is to review videos containing Epidemic Sound’s and/or external client’s catalogue music in Youtube’s CMS (Content Management System) and take action based on our business rules.
Your key responsibilities include
- Validate videos produced by our system for subsequent claiming across YouTube and other online platforms, which involves listening to a high volume of music across various genres, with a focus on UGC.
- Execute precise claiming operations by accurately timestamping music usage and diligently adapting to frequently updated client guidelines.
- Proactively master new and existing claiming strategies to ensure our operations stay ahead of industry and platform trends.
- Provide feedback on potential workflow improvements to enhance our systems and processes.
- Engage in a collaborative environment where you will learn from others, teach yourself, and share your knowledge with the team.
- Contribute to team success by addressing client-specific tasks and taking on other responsibilities as needed.

- A Collaborative Spirit: You value building relationships with your team and have the flexibility to travel, if requested, for periodic in-person collaboration.

Nice to have
- An exceptional musical ear, a university degree in a relevant discipline or prior professional experience.
- The flexibility to occasionally align with different time zones to connect with our offices in Lisbon, Sweden, the U.S., and London.
Schedule and Coverage
This is a part-time position designed to ensure continuous coverage over the weekends and Poya days, when our full-time team is off.
You will work:
- Every Saturday and Sunday
- All Poya holidays in Sri Lanka
*Working on Poya holidays is a core requirement of this role. In line with Sri Lanka's Shop and Office Employees Act, any work performed on Poya holidays will be compensated at the applicable rate, as administered through Deel.
Please note: During the initial training period (up to 2–3 weeks at the beginning of the collaboration), and whenever additional training is required by the business, training will take place during weekdays.
