Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Tester with deep expertise in with clinical trial data, RTSM exp, Data testing, The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL and Python, experienced in Medallion architecture, and capable of building frameworks for auditability, data quality, and automated testing. Strong data testing skills and experience with BI/reporting tools are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Experience validating ETL/ELT pipelines and BI reports/dashboards.
- Should experience as a Data Tester / Data QA with strong hands-on data testing expertise.
- Working knowledge of Python for data testing and automation.
- Document traceability between testing, system requirements, and product requirements documentation in a timely manner.
- Responsible for testing through the entire lifecycle of a project, including test case development, execution and verification.
- Perform data tester to support operational data requests and user queries.
- Collaborate with clinical data teams to analyse IRT/RTSM datasets.
- Proven experience working with clinical trial data in regulated environments.
- Help manage CICD and automated code branching/deployment
- Complete all testing deliverables at the end of the testing cycle.
- Demonstrate efficient and accurate completion of all responsibilities.
Skills
- Experience in Pharma or Life Sciences, especially in clinical trial operations.
- Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools.
- Certifications in Databricks, cloud platforms, or clinical data standards.
- Exposure to machine learning workflows or data science collaboration.
Experience
- 6–8 years of experience as a Data Tester / Data QA with strong hands-on data testing expertise
- Proven experience working with clinical trial data in regulated environments
- Hands-on experience with IRT/RTSM systems and related datasets
- Strong expertise in data validation, reconciliation, and end-to-end data testing
- Ability to test data across the full project lifecycle, from requirements to production validation
- Advanced SQL skills for complex data analysis and validation
- Hands-on experience with automation testing of data using tools such as RightData or equivalent data testing/validation tools
- Experience ensuring data quality, auditability, and traceability for compliance purposes
- Familiarity with clinical data standards such as CDISC, SDTM, and ADaM
- Experience validating ETL/ELT pipelines and BI reports/dashboards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, data engineering, and business teams
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent field or appropriate experience will be considered
