Who We Are
AeroVect is transforming ground handling with autonomy, redefining how airlines and ground service providers around the globe run day-to-day operations. We are a Series A company backed by top-tier venture capital investors in aviation and autonomous driving. Our customers include some of the world’s largest airlines and ground handling providers. For more information, visit www.aerovect.com. We are hiring a Strategic Account Director to own and grow one of AeroVect’s largest airline accounts. You will lead the day-to-day customer relationship, secure funding for deployments, and manage commercial agreements. You will work directly with AeroVect’s leadership and the customer’s operations, finance, procurement, and executive teams.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role dedicated to a single strategic customer. You will personally lead business reviews, negotiate commercial agreements, and follow through on the customer decisions needed to keep deployments moving.
You Will
- Own the account plan, including revenue targets, expansion opportunities, budget timelines, and key customer decisions.
- Build relationships across the customer’s operating teams, budget owners, procurement, and senior leadership. Develop executive sponsorship beyond individual contacts.
- Build business cases using deployment results, operating costs, and expected returns. Work with the customer to secure budget approval and purchase orders for implementation and fleet expansion.
- Lead pricing, contract negotiations, and renewals with AeroVect’s leadership, Finance, and Legal. Work with Product, Engineering, and Operations to validate scope and service commitments.
- Run customer business reviews covering operating results, deployment progress, commercial opportunities, and decisions required.
- Maintain an accurate account forecast and track contractual milestones, payment status, and commercial risks. Evaluate expansion requests against delivery capacity, support costs, and margins.
You Have
- 10+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or commercial leadership, with direct responsibility for large enterprise customers.
- A track record of growing accounts through signed, funded agreements and deployed products or services.
- Experience navigating complex buying organizations, capital budgets, procurement processes, and contract negotiations.
- The ability to build relationships with frontline operators and senior executives, and lead substantive discussions about business performance and investment decisions.
- Exceptional financial and commercial judgment.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including executive presentations.
- Strong follow-through across customer and internal teams. You are comfortable personally handling the details needed to move an account forward.
We Prefer
- Experience selling and deploying robotics, industrial automation, or other technology used in industrial operations.
- Experience owning a major enterprise account in the airline / airport industry.
- Atlanta-based, with availability for regular in-person meetings and visits to customer locations.
