Engineer, Cloud Engineering
Job requirements Experience Range: with at least 1 to 3 years of IT infrastructure experience, including hands-on exposure to Azure cloud operations and L1 production support Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver L1 support for Azure infrastructure and platform services in production and non-production environments, ensuring timely incident response and operational continuity
- Monitor Azure services, alerts, dashboards, backup status, and patch compliance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and ServiceNow
- Perform initial triage and first-level troubleshooting for incidents involving Azure virtual machines, storage, networking, identity, and backup failures
- Maintain ServiceNow ticket hygiene by accurately categorizing, prioritizing, updating, and documenting tickets in line with SLAs
- Execute approved SOPs and runbooks for routine operational tasks such as service checks, backup verification, log collection, and patch readiness checks
- Assist with patching activities using Azure Update Manager, including compliance review, schedule tracking, and post-patching health checks under guidance
- Support vulnerability remediation by validating assets, updating status, and escalating blockers to senior teams
- Escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams with clear documentation of troubleshooting steps, impact, and evidence Required Skills:
- Azure virtual machines administration

- Azure Active Directory and RBAC configuration
- Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- ServiceNow ticketing and workflow management
- Azure backup and recovery validation

- Basic PowerShell scripting or Azure CLI usage
- Azure network security groups and virtual networks Preferred Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Azure Administrator Associate
