What You'll Do :
- Under the direction of senior engineers, perform structural analysis and design for foundations (driven piles, screw and helical piles, and cast-in-place concrete), overhead steel structures, building envelopes, and non-building structures.
- Apply industry codes and standards — including ASCE 7, IBC, NESC, ASCE 113, IEEE 693, and NFPA — to assigned tasks with guidance.
- Adhere to applicable Client, EPC, Owner, and Utility standards on all assigned work.
- Support the development of structural drawings and details with designers and the civil design team, including inputs to foundation bills of material (BOMs).
- Use engineering software (Excel and RISA; VBA and Python a plus) to complete and document calculations.
- Perform self-checks, document work clearly, and build toward EIT/FE licensure.
What We're Looking For:
- A bachelor’s degree in structural, civil, or related engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 0+ years of experience; internship or co-op experience a plus. EIT/FE optional but encouraged.
- Foundational understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
- Familiarity with structural analysis software (RISA or similar) and Excel; VBA and Python a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and ability to follow direction.
