What You'll Do:
- Perform structural analysis and design for foundations (driven piles, screw and helical piles, and cast-in-place concrete), overhead steel structures, building envelopes, and non-building structures, with periodic review.
- Apply codes and standards — ASCE 7, IBC, NESC, ASCE 113, IEEE 693, and NFPA — to design tasks.
- Adhere to applicable Client, EPC, Owner, and Utility standards on all assigned work.
- Coordinate with designers and the civil design team to develop drawings, details, and foundation bills of material (BOMs) across project areas.
- Use engineering software (Excel, RISA, and LPILE; VBA and Python a plus) to produce and document calculations.
- Expand technical breadth, support less-experienced staff, and progress toward EIT/FE and PE licensure.
What We're Looking For:
- A bachelor’s degree in structural, civil, or related engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 1+ years of structural engineering experience. EIT/FE preferred.
- Working knowledge of structural analysis and design and the applicable codes and standards.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA) and Excel; LPILE and VBA/Python a plus.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on routine tasks and communicate effectively across disciplines.
