Position Summary
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Escrow Funding Specialist that has residential title closing experience to join a dynamic team and a growing organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review all signed documents and approvals for funding/disbursement of funds
- Obtain funding authorizations from lender, if applicable
- Balance and disburse file
- Cut and send out all checks and wires
- Check Positive Pay daily to verify no check exceptions with the bank
- Help with daily recons and other tasks assigned by Manager
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- The ideal candidate shall have a minimum of one year of experience in multi-state fundings, preferably for a national title agent
- Knowledge and understanding of escrow accounting requirements
- Knowledge of real estate transaction documentation
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Understand the key touch points of a residential title and closing transaction
- Ability to be the primary point of contact to assist and resolve escalated issues
- Working knowledge of title industry systems and software. Working knowledge of title industry systems and software.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Qualia is a plus
- Familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus
