Job description

About Unity Advisory

Unity Advisory is a pure-play, experience-led CFO advisory firm providing integrated finance, commercial, tax and deals support. We are free from audit conflicts and AI-enabled by design, combining deep technical expertise with automation, analytics and AI built into the delivery of every engagement. We are building an alternative to traditional advisory firms, focused on clarity over complexity, outcomes over hours, and practical advice delivered at pace for CFOs making high-consequence decisions.

The Role

As a Finance Transformation Manager, you will lead workstreams within high-impact transformation programmes — working directly with CFOs and their leadership teams to re-imagine and digitise finance functions through digital technologies, streamlined processes and modern operating models.

This is a client-facing role at a firm that does things differently. There are no legacy layers here — you’ll take real ownership, shape the work, and have direct visibility of the impact you create from day one. If you’ve built strong credentials in finance transformation and want to apply them somewhere that moves at pace and actually values your expertise, this is that role.

Responsibilities

  • Advise CFOs and their leadership teams on transformation priorities and approach.
  • Lead and manage finance transformation workstreams across process, data and technology.
  • Design future-state finance operating models tailored to client context.
  • Redesign core finance processes including R2R, P2P, O2C and FP&A.
  • Implement cloud-based ERP and EPM platforms, automation tools, data platforms and analytics solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into practical ERP/EPM solutions and integrate technology into clients’ ecosystems.
  • Drive adoption of transformation initiatives so the changes stick after we leave.
  • Run executive workshops and lead steering committee updates.
  • Ensure delivery on time, on budget and within scope.
  • Lead, coach and develop team members.
  • Contribute to go-to-market activities, proposal writing and pitch presentations.
  • Support thought leadership on EPM trends and tools.

What you'll bring

  • 6+ years of experience in finance transformation including 2+ years in a consulting or advisory environment.
  • Track record of delivering high-impact tech-enabled Finance Transformation programmes.
  • Experience implementing ERP, EPM, analytics tools and automation platforms.
  • Experience in process re-engineering and operating model design.
  • Finance/Accounting qualification including ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Work Environment

A truly hybrid and flexible working environment. We offer the opportunity to be at the forefront of AI-driven advisory services. You’ll be working on cutting-edge projects and encouraged to deploy the latest analytical tools and approaches.
