ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Technical Recruiter on a 6 month fixed term contract to accelerate hiring across AI/ML, engineering, data and cloud/DevOps. This is a delivery-led position with strong stakeholder exposure, requiring advanced sourcing, technical fluency and pace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver full-cycle hiring across:
  • AI/ML Engineering & Applied Science
  • Full Stack & Backend
  • Data Engineering, Analytics & Platform
  • DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure
  • Product, Architecture & Security
  • Build targeted technical talent pipelines using:
  • Ashby ATS & LinkedIn Recruiter
  • GitHub, HuggingFace, Stack Overflow, Kaggle, Discord, ArXiv
  • Modern sourcing automations (e.g., PhantomBuster)
  • Execute structured screening aligned to technical competency scorecards.
  • Maintain recruitment funnel hygiene and reporting (conversion, time-to-fill).
  • Develop outbound campaigns tailored to engineering and AI communities.
  • Partner with hiring stakeholders on prioritisation and forecasting.
  • Ensure a consistently high-touch candidate experience.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Must-have

  • 4–8+ years technical recruiting with specialism in:
  • AI/ML
  • Full stack / backend engineering
  • Cloud / DevOps / platform
  • Data engineering / data science
  • Strong ability to speak credibly on:
  • Model lifecycle, model ops, inference & deployment
  • Data pipelines, ETL, warehousing & lakehouse patterns
  • CI/CD, IaC and cloud architecture
  • Evidence of delivering high-complexity tech hiring within short timeframes.
  • Sourcing capability beyond mainstream channels.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in scaling advisory, consultancy or PE-backed environments.
  • Familiarity with Ashby ATS and Microsoft Teams workflows.
  • Exposure to building technical scorecards and interview loops.

CONTRACT OUTCOMES (FIRST 6 MONTHS)

  • Priority engineering, AI and data roles successfully filled against agreed SLAs.
  • Predictive pipeline built for recurring strategic tech profiles.
  • Standardised competency-based interview process embedded with hiring teams.
  • Market mapping completed for AI/ML and cloud talent communities.

CONTRACT STRUCTURE

  • Type: Fixed Term Contract (FTC)
