Die IT-Abteilung der Gruppe besteht aus über 20 Leuten und betreut mehr als 1.200 User. Du wirst Teil des IT-Teams der Mutterfirma mit 10 Personen und arbeitest zusammen mit zwei Linux-Admins sowie eng mit den Robotics- und DevOps-Teams.

Unsere Engineering-Teams bauen Roboter – und die Infrastruktur, auf die sie sich täglich verlassen, beginnt bei dir. Als Linux Infrastructure Engineer verantwortest du den Ubuntu-Desktop-Fleet, auf den Ingenieure, Entwicklerinnen und Forscher angewiesen sind. Du wirst Teil eines gut aufgestellten und wachsenden IT-Teams, arbeitest Seite an Seite mit erfahrenen Linux-Admins und pflegst enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Robotik- und DevOps-Teams – deine Arbeit ist direkt in dem sichtbar, was entsteht.

Deine Mission & Herausforderungen

2nd-Level-Support für unseren Ubuntu-Desktop-Fleet – von Betriebssystem- und Hardware-Problemen bis hin zu Applikations-Troubleshooting und Peripheriegeräten
Entwicklung und Pflege automatisierter Konfigurationsverwaltung für Linux-Client-Systeme, z. B. mit Ansible
Verwaltung von Software-Deployment, Paketverwaltung und Patch-Zyklen im gesamten Desktop-Fleet
Administration von Benutzerkonten, Berechtigungen und lokalen Richtlinien auf Linux-Endgeräten
Anbindung von Desktop-Systemen an zentrale Dienste wie LDAP/AD, SSO, VPN und Netzwerkspeicher
Pflege und Weiterentwicklung von Standard-Desktop-Images und Provisionierungs-Workflows
Zusammenarbeit mit den Robotik- und DevOps-Teams zu Tooling- und Umgebungsanforderungen für Engineering-Workstations
Dokumentation von Prozessen, Erstellung von Runbooks und Beiträge zur internen Wissensdatenbank

Was wir uns von dir wünschen

Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Informationstechnologie oder eines verwandten Fachbereichs – oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung (z. B. Fachinformatiker/in Systemintegration) mit entsprechender Berufserfahrung
Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Linux-Systemadministration
Kenntnisse in Shell- und Python-Scripting
