Job description

Brand Knew is looking for a DTC Marketing Manager who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and performance. You’ll be responsible for growing DTC brands through full-funnel marketing strategies that combine paid social, email, and on-site optimization. From developing high-performing ad creative to optimizing Shopify storefronts for conversion, this role blends creative intuition with analytical rigor.

You should have a deep understanding of what makes people click and what makes them buy—and know how to use data to refine campaigns that drive measurable growth. Experience in the supplements or wellness space is a plus, as you’ll be working with brands that require strong compliance awareness and nuanced customer journeys.

If you’re passionate about scaling DTC brands through data-driven creative, smart testing, and lifecycle marketing that keeps customers coming back, we’d love to meet you.

NOTE: Applications that are not fully and properly filled out will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

- Develop original static and video concepts for paid social campaigns across our client roster

- Translate client goals, audience insights, brand positioning, performance data, and broader marketing opportunities into actionable creative and messaging ideas

- Write clear concepts, hooks, messaging angles, copy direction, and briefs for designers, editors, creators, and other creative partners

- Review paid social performance in partnership with the media team and identify opportunities for new concepts, iterations, messaging angles, and creative directions

- Use metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, CPA, and ROAS to evaluate creative performance and inform future testing

- Develop and manage lifecycle marketing campaigns across email and SMS, including both one-off campaigns and automated flows

- Build, QA, and optimize lifecycle campaigns in Klaviyo or comparable email and SMS platforms

- Develop messaging and campaign strategies that support conversion, retention, re-engagement, and other stages of the customer journey

- Review lifecycle performance and identify opportunities to improve messaging, creative, segmentation, cadence, and campaign strategy

- Identify opportunities to carry learnings, messaging, and creative themes across paid media and lifecycle channels

- Build strategy decks and confidently present performance insights, marketing recommendations, and next steps internally and to clients

- Create and maintain campaign launch documents, creative trackers, calendars, timelines, and other materials that keep client initiatives organized and moving forward

- Support the day-to-day execution of client work by documenting decisions, coordinating next steps, tracking deliverables, and following up with internal teams ahead of key deadlines

- Provide clear, actionable feedback throughout the creative and campaign development process to ensure the final work reflects the original strategy

- Manage multiple client priorities while maintaining a high level of organization, attention to detail, and follow-through

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, growth marketing, or a related agency or brand-side role

- Experience developing creative concepts and messaging specifically for paid media

- A strong understanding of paid social creative and how creative decisions influence campaign performance

- Working knowledge of paid social metrics and the ability to interpret performance data in partnership with a media team

- Hands-on experience with lifecycle marketing across email and SMS, including campaigns and automated flows

- Experience working in Klaviyo or a comparable lifecycle marketing platform

- An understanding of lifecycle strategy, including segmentation, testing, retention, re-engagement, and optimization

- Strong copywriting and messaging instincts with the ability to adapt across paid creative, email, SMS, and different client voices

- Demonstrated ability to turn performance insights into clear, actionable marketing recommendations

- Strong presentation, writing, communication, and collaboration skills

- The ability to balance performance goals with each client’s brand voice and creative standards

- Strong organizational skills and comfort working across several fast-moving client accounts
