Mechanical Engineer - Contract DISHER is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support a 6-12 month project onsite with our customer in Muskegon, MI.

What you will get to do:
- Collaborate with test engineers to review, clarify, and document test incident reports. Investigate test failures to gather necessary background context and assist in refining the final reports for accuracy.
- Mechanical system design and engine testing
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
- Root‑cause failure investigation
- FEA interpretation and collaboration with analysts
- Support Fuel system design under guidance of lead engineer
- CAD modeling, drafting, and documentation
- GT‑Power flow/system analysis
- Onsite engineering support
What will make you successful:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering degree
- 1-5+ years of Engineering experience (beginner to intermediate level)
- Comfortable working in Excel
- Creo/Pro-E 3D modeling experience
- Confidence with updating 3D drawings/releases
- Experience with GD&T
- PowerPoint presentations skills
- Engine background preferred (not required)
