Mr Apple is looking for Orchardists to join our orchard teams across Hawke's Bay.
Whether you're already working in horticulture or bring transferable skills and leadership experience from another industry, we'd love to hear from you.
As part of our recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will have the opportunity to attend an Orchard Experience Day, where you'll meet our team, learn more about orchard careers, and gain first-hand insight into life at Mr Apple.
What you’ll bring
- You must have reliable means of transport to and from work
- You have the right to work in New Zealand and can pass pre-employment checks
Orchardist roles:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Enjoy working outdoors and as part of a team
- Comfortable undertaking physical work
- Reliable transport to and from work
Senior Leading Hand roles:
- Previous horticulture experience
- Experience leading or supporting a team
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and organise work
- Understanding of orchard operations and safe work practices
