About You
- Extensive experience leading major capital infrastructure projects within data centres or other mission-critical environments (essential)
- A proven track record delivering complex projects from concept through to commissioning and operational handover.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Experienced in building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, customers, contractors and consultants.
- A proven track record delivering a quality outcome on time and on budget.
- Confident leading multidisciplinary teams while influencing outcomes across matrix environments.
- Passionate about developing project governance, improving delivery frameworks and driving operational excellence.
- Calm under pressure with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Customer-focused with a collaborative leadership style and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, agile business where no two projects are the same.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience delivering major data centre, critical infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
- Senior Program or Project Management experience across large capital investment portfolios.
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, scheduling and stage-gate delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing project commercials including budgeting, forecasting and financial controls.
- Demonstrated contract negotiation and supplier management experience.
- Strong understanding of mission-critical infrastructure including power, cooling, MEP systems and commissioning.
- Experience working with enterprise, wholesale or hyperscale customers.
- Knowledge of Uptime Institute Tier Standards, TIA-942 and data centre best practice (highly regarded).
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management certification (desirable).
- Proven leadership capability with the ability to coach, mentor and build high-performing project teams.
- Outstanding communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
