We’re looking for a highly organized and collaborative contract Recruiting Coordinator to help support and scale our hiring efforts. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering a people-first candidate experience by managing interview logistics, serving as a welcoming point of contact, and ensuring a smooth experience throughout the hiring process. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. You’re eager to learn, take initiative, and build strong cross-functional relationships. This role is based in our Bangalore office and requires 3 days per week onsite. While the majority of the office will work Pacific Standard Time (PST), this role will work 11AM to 8PM IST with flexibility to 10 PM IST to better accommodate candidate schedules. Key responsibilities include:

• Schedule and coordinate interviews efficiently while delivering a seamless candidate experience
• Manage recruiting tools with care, maintaining accurate and up-to-date data
• Communicate with professionalism, empathy, and discretion
• Represent Handshake as a warm, friendly, and reliable point of contact for candidates
• Support ad hoc and strategic coordination projects as needed

You Have Must Haves:

• 1+ year(s) of scheduling or coordination experience, ideally in a high-energy, fast-paced setting
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Impeccable attention to detail and strong written communication
• A bias for action, humility, and a growth mindset
• Sound judgment and comfort handling sensitive information
