Job description

YOUR MISSION & CHALLENGES

  • Deploy end-to-end: Plan and execute the deployment of NEURA robots and AI applications at customer sites, from initial setup through final acceptance.
  • Customize for the customer: Configure, adapt, and fine-tune existing AI capabilities and robot behaviors to match customer-specific tasks, environments, and constraints.
  • Be the technical bridge: Act as the primary technical contact for customers during project delivery, understanding their requirements and translating them into working robot applications.
  • Resolve in the field: Troubleshoot issues that arise during integration and live operation, resolving them on-site or in close coordination with engineering and product teams.
  • Close the loop: Collaborate with Robotics Engineers, Product Management, and R&D to feed field learnings and customer requirements back into the product roadmap.
  • Build institutional knowledge: Document deployment processes, configurations, and lessons learned to make future customer projects faster and more repeatable.
  • Ensure customer success: Support customer training and handover, ensuring long-term success of the deployed solution.

WHAT WE CAN LOOK FORWARD TO

  • Your background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field — or comparable qualifications and practical experience.
  • Field deployment experience: Hands-on experience deploying or integrating robotic or AI-based systems in real production or field environments.
  • Hardware and middleware expertise: Practical experience with robotic hardware, sensors, and middleware (e.g., ROS/ROS2).
  • Customer engagement: Comfort working directly with customers, including some willingness to travel to customer sites.
  • Programming proficiency: Solid programming skills in Python and/or C++, with the ability to debug and adapt systems under real-world conditions.
  • Problem-solving mindset: Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on, get-it-done attitude.
  • Communication strength: Excellent ability to bridge the gap between engineering and customers.
  • Languages: Professional proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
