Summary-
San Antonio Winery is looking for friendly, fast paced, and customer service focused individuals to support our restaurants during our Holiday season. This individual would support line and multiple floor positions varying from: expeditor, busser, cashier, line prep, stocking, and beverage prep.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Current duties may be changed if the job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.
- Welcoming customers into store/restaurant.
- Ringing customers up and processing transactions.
- Attention to detail, calmness, and creativity in dealing with employees and customers, and the ability to think and react quickly under pressure.
- Staying knowledgeable about our range of products.
- Accepting the processing orders, operate POS register.
- Promote special sales.
- Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables after diners are done eating.
- Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables.
- Straightening out the tablecloth or replacing stained ones.
- Replacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners.
- Refilling paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments on the dining table.
- Refilling drinking glasses with water.
- Bringing out meal orders if waitstaff are busy.
- Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
Minimum Qualifications-
- 1-2 years of experience working in a customer service-based environment.
- Available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sundays on a consistent basis.
- Attentiveness and patience for customers.
- Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Active listening and effective communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts.
- A friendly attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to stand for long period of time.
- Must maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift 40lbs (the weight of a case of wine).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
