YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES
You are a key point of contact for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and support the continuous development and optimization of our ERP processes across all relevant modules.
- Consulting and optimization of business processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (end-to-end across all modules)
- Support of international rollouts as well as multi-company setups, including local requirements and country-specific adaptations
- Conducting fit-gap analyses and deriving functional and technical requirements for implementations and system enhancements
- Configuration and customization of Business Central (workflows, roles, document layouts, core settings, and extension logic)
- Creation of solution designs and technical specifications in close collaboration with internal and external BC developers
- Support in the implementation of extensions and interfaces together with development partners
- Planning and facilitation of workshops with business departments, key users, and stakeholders for process analysis and solution definition
- Participation in data migration activities, including definition of migration rules and execution of test imports
- Execution and coordination of testing activities, including documentation and support of business departments through to final acceptance
- Support during go-live phases, including cutover preparation and hypercare phase
- Creation of documentation and training materials, and support in knowledge transfer to end users and key users
- Close collaboration with the ERP team, business analysts, BC support, and external implementation partners
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- At least 5 years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant, with broad expertise across multiple BC functional modules (either in-house or at a Microsoft Partner)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central functionality
- Business processes in at least 2–3 BC functional areas, such as Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, Service, or Project Management
- Experience with extensions, integrations/interfaces, and system upgrades
- Ability to design pragmatic and sustainable solutions
- Hands-on mentality with a strong implementation focus, rather than a purely advisory role
- Confident in collaborating with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and cross-functional business stakeholders
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
