Our common goal is to provide honesty, development and a stable background while getting to know the latest technologies. We are waiting for your application for the position below!

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA FI-AA expert to act as a Design Authority and Delivery Lead within a complex global S/4HANA programme.

The primary objective of the role is to de-risk the programme, stabilize the Asset Accounting scope, support the existing FI-AA resource, and prepare the solution for successful BUILD execution over the coming months.

The successful candidate will work closely with business and project stakeholders, independently challenge design decisions, provide expert guidance, and ensure that complex FI-AA requirements are translated into robust and scalable S/4HANA solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior subject matter expert and Design Authority for SAP FI-AA / Asset Accounting within a global S/4HANA programme.
  • Lead and support the design, validation, and preparation of FI-AA solutions for the BUILD phase.
  • Independently review and challenge complex design decisions and provide expert recommendations.
  • Provide expert guidance and advisory support to business and project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance Architecture and other SAP functional teams.
  • Design and advise on solutions covering multiple ledgers, currencies, and accounting principles.
  • Ensure alignment with broader Finance Architecture decisions, including S/4HANA currency design and potential future UPA considerations.
  • Provide expertise on Asset Under Construction (AuC), capitalization, and settlement processes.
  • Support Lease Accounting integrations, including external lease management solutions such as the SpiderPig IFRS16 landscape.
  • Manage and advise on IT Asset integrations with ServiceNow (SNOW).
  • Identify and specify FI-AA enhancement requirements, including mass asset processing and high-volume operational scenarios.
  • Lead and advise on mid-year and year-end asset migration activities, including historical values, accumulated depreciation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
  • Support the full S/4HANA programme lifecycle across Design, Build, Test, Cutover, and Hypercare.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of SAP Finance experience, with deep specialization in SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA).
  • Proven experience in multiple end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations, covering Design, Build, Test, Cutover, and Hypercare.
  • Strong expertise in New Asset Accounting, parallel valuation, depreciation areas, accounting principles, and ledger integration.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex global template deployments across multiple countries and statutory environments.
  • Hands-on experience with mid-year and year-end asset migrations, including historical values, accumulated depreciation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
  • Ability to independently challenge design decisions and provide authoritative guidance to business and project stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in the Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical industry.
