Turion is developing the critical infrastructure of the space economy. We're doing this by building vertically integrated hardware and software: DROID, our line of space vehicles, and Starfire, our software suite covering simulation, modeling, planning, and operations. We’re looking for a Senior Technical Sourcer who can help us build the high-performing, mission-driven team that will get us there. You will be responsible for identifying, tracking and successfully converting passive talent to engaged candidates.
This is a full-time, exempt position based on-site at our Irvine, California headquarters.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Run active sourcing campaigns for technical roles, primarily focused on software and hardware engineering
- Source top-tier, hard-to-reach talent through creative outbound strategies and network-building
- Guide candidates through the process with clarity, professionalism, and a focus on an outstanding experience
- Collaborate with our marketing team to create posts, outreach and events that increase our brand recognition
- Maintain data and detailed documentation in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Ashby.
- Continuously iterate on our processes to improve speed, quality, and experience
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sourcing and/or recruiting experience, preferably in the aerospace, defense or tech industry
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, Boolean search strings or other common sourcing tools
- Prior success with alternative sourcing methods, including social media, networking, contract and patent scraping
- Demonstrated history of building long-term relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage requisitions and project work simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SaaS, aerospace, defense, automotive or hardware-heavy industries
- Familiarity with hiring cleared talent
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring
- A bias toward action, you notice potential bottlenecks and proactively present solutions
Senior Technical Sourcer Compensation Range: $120,000 - $160,000 USD annually.
Employees may be asked to support alternate shifts, extended shifts, and/or travel during peak work periods.

This position may include access to technology and/or software source code that is subject to U.S. export controls.
