As a Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the accounting and month-end process. In this role you will report to our US Controller. We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment and has high attention to detail. Please note that this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our NYC office. Responsibilites:
- Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close.
- Credit Card and Bank Reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies.
- Work with Procurement, FP&A and team leads on the end-to-end PR to PO process.
- Manage Accounts Payable process including but not limited to vendor onboarding, bill entry, vendor payments, preparing payment reports, ensuring there are proper POs for all bills and liaising with vendor as necessary.
- Monitor corporate credit cards and own creating new virtual card for special events or new employees.
- Assist with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Assist with employee expense reimbursements review and upload.
- Ad-hoc reporting as required.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 3 years related work experience, Public Company/SaaS experience is a plus
- Conversational knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish a plus
- Prior experience with NetSuite
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
- Highly detail oriented, ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of MS Office with strong Excel skills

The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $80,000-$100,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including education, training, experience, business needs, and work location. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for either an annual discretionary bonus or a role-based, sales incentive plan. Certain roles may also include equity in the form of RSUs.
