Job description
About the Company & Role
If you're a pet lover with a startup mindset, this one's for you. We make personalized, science-backed fresh food for dogs — real ingredients, gently dehydrated, tailored to each dog, delivered on subscription. We're a seed-stage, funded DTC brand with real early traction, built on a simple belief: pet parents deserve food they can actually trust for the family member who can't read the label themselves. Our founding team comes from early roles at multiple unicorn startups, and our product is led by a PhD-level R&D team with active university research collaborations — small, science-led, and AI-native in how we operate. This isn't a support role — it's a seat at the core team table. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders, owning strategic projects one day and rolling up your sleeves on the unglamorous work that keeps a lean startup alive the next — including getting hands-on with customer support and experience. If "no task is too small" makes you excited rather than nervous, keep reading.
What you will do:
- Lead and execute high-priority business initiatives, strategic mandates, and special projects directed by the CEO.
- Conduct commercial evaluations, market entry analyses, and feasibility studies to unlock new regional growth opportunities.
- Work closely with the CEO on domestic and international business trips, high-level client negotiations, and industry summits.
- Coordinate cross-departmental teams to ensure key commercial projects and operational milestones are delivered on time.
- Drive engagement and follow-up with strategic clients, logistics providers, global suppliers, and key industry partners.
- Analysis key business metrics, performance and revenue data to identify operational bottlenecks and growth levers.
What you will need:
- 4-8 years of proven experience in Business Development, Corporate Strategy, Operations, or Strategic Project Management.
- Strong background or domain knowledge in Cross-Border E-Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Tech, SaaS, or high-growth Tech Startups.
- Exceptional commercial acumen with strong analytical skills and a structured problem-solving mindset.
- High autonomy and execution power—capable of driving complex, cross-functional projects independently from 0 to 1.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English (multilingual capability in Mandarin/Cantonese is a strong plus for regional stakeholder management).
- Mobility to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 30%+ business travel).
Why work at nahc.io
- Culture & values: “People-first” ethos with a strong emphasis on ethical conduct, transparency, and long-term relationships. The team is small (4 people), offering direct mentorship from the founders.
- Growth opportunities: The firm “invests in our people through continuous skills training and new opportunities.” Internships are available for university students, providing hands-on experience mentored by founders.
- Work environment: Offices in Hong Kong (Sheung Wan) and Singapore (Vision Exchange). The Taipei role is listed as on-site. Remote/hybrid policy is not explicitly stated, but the company advises on remote hiring for clients.
- Unique perk: The company uses AI tools to support hiring (resume review, analysis) but notes that final decisions are made by humans – transparency in their own hiring process.
- Impact: As a small team, employees can directly shape the company’s growth and have a tangible impact on candidates’ careers and clients’ businesses.
