Keeley Construction is looking for Estimating Interns to join our Operations Groups in Summer 2027.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist Vice Presidents, Project Managers, and Project Engineers in the preparation of cost estimates for multiple construction projects.
- Communicate with subcontractors to gather and analyze bids, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
- Review and update project timelines, integrating estimates with overall project schedules.
- Attend and contribute to project meetings, providing insights on cost implications and budget considerations.
- Responsible for completing assigned estimating tasks and projects efficiently and accurately.
- Learn and strictly adhere to safety standards and policies during the estimating process.
- Uphold and promote Keeley’s mission, vision, and values.
Minimum Qualifications
- In the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Intuitive listener with high aptitude for learning.
- Results oriented and organized multi-tasker.
- Problem solver with innovative ideas.
- Self-starter and not afraid to ask questions.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills.
- Desire to learn multiple tasks.
