Job Summary:
We are looking for a System Engineer to provide technical support, maintenance, and migration support for our mainframe ecosystem. You’ll work with core IBM tools and lead the transition from ChangeMan SCM to the IBM ADFz bundle, ensuring stability and efficiency of our mainframe development and deployment processes.
Responsibilities :
Provide support and maintenance for mainframe tools including JOBSCAN, ChangeMan SCM, and IBM ADFz bundle products such as FILE MANAGER and DEBUG
Support and execute the transition from ChangeMan SCM to IBM ADFz bundle products with minimal disruption.
Configure, maintain, and optimize Software Configuration Management systems for mainframe environments.
Work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, manage releases, and ensure platform stability.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience with mainframe technologies related to the software mentioned above.
Hands-on experience with ChangeMan SCM, including configuration management and version control.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
- Strong knowledge of mainframe development tools and technologies.
- Experience in scripting using REXX, JCL, or similar mainframe scripting languages.
Nice to Have
Experience with IBM z/OS environment and utilities.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for mainframe.
Exposure to migration projects from legacy SCM tools to IBM ADFz.
