Technical Sourcer/Jr. Recruiter

Old Mission is looking to add a Technical Sourcer/Jr. Recruiter to our growing Talent team to assist with sharing the Old Mission story and vision around the globe. In this role, we are looking for an intellectually curious person that enjoys research, engagement, and the thrill of the hunt. You will partner with recruiting colleagues, hiring managers, and other key business leaders to collaborate on sourcing/hiring strategies, while also getting hands-on exposure to the full recruiting lifecycle and continuously working to improve our interviewing and overall talent evaluation process.

What you’ll do:

  • Research and engage candidates for a variety of mostly technical roles at all levels across the firm
  • Build rapport, evaluate, and pitch candidates on opportunities that align with their needs/background
  • Build a pipeline of passive candidates via a variety of different channels of your choosing
  • Understand candidate’s skills, and how they tie into the broader team, along with the firm’s goals
  • Proactively identify, source, and engage relevant talent, based on the existing job profile with little guidance
  • Drive results that will have both short-term and long-term impact on talent at the firm
  • Provide an outstanding candidate experience for anyone you communicate with on the behalf of Old Mission
  • Compile reports and ensure data integrity for reporting to various stakeholders in regards to pipeline, market intelligence, etc.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ year of sourcing and/or recruiting experience with a demonstrated track record of success
  • Exposure to sourcing or recruiting technical talent within a variety of disciplines
  • Comfort ramping up on non-technical hiring needs, including Operations, Sales, and Trading roles, as business needs shift
  • Interest in developing full-cycle recruiting skills, including candidate screening and interview coordination
  • Ability to dive into the details with meticulous organization and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that allow you to build great relationships with prospects for the firm

Base Salary Range

$100,000 - $130,000 - Salaries are based on numerous factors such as skills, experience, and education. Our compensation package also includes a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits program for full-time employees. For more information, reach out to your recruiter.
