About the Role:
Are you a driven, highly experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with strong relationships in the Commercial/Asset Finance Broker channel? Do you excel at establishing new business and building rapport with clients? Join Shift and leverage your relationship management expertise to drive revenue growth through our broker network.
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure customer-centric outcomes, actively contribute to enhancing our brand, and represent Shift at industry events and finance sector presentations.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute quarterly and annual sales plans to achieve regional sales targets
- Activate new brokers while maintaining and nurturing existing relationships
- Onboard, train, and support the growth of new brokers in our network
- Represent Shift at aggregator and industry events to build market presence
- Foster trust and long-term partnerships with brokers
- Manage relationships with key aggregator sales personnel at a state level
- Elevate Shift’s brand awareness across your dedicated region
- Stay updated on market and industry trends to inform strategy
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sales/BDM, preferably in asset finance or a related commercial sector
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships in the broker network
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sales acumen and proven track record of achieving targets
- Effective stakeholder management skills
- Outstanding rapport-building abilities
