Responsibilities:
- Ensure the stable, secure, compliant, and efficient operation of selected Microsoft cloud security solutions.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, and Microsoft Purview.
- Implement and maintain security and compliance policies, including:
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Information Protection
- Sensitivity Labels
- Cloud App Governance policies
- Security Posture Management
- Configure, monitor, and continuously optimize security settings in line with internal requirements, security standards, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) on configuration-related requirements, including policy changes and fine-tuning of detection rules.
- Support the introduction and implementation of new Microsoft security features and services.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation related to security configurations, policies, and implemented solutions.
- Support security audits and compliance assessments by collecting technical evidence and contributing to the implementation of compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot security-related issues and proactively identify opportunities for improving the organization's cloud security posture.
- Work closely with international, cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of cloud security and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Hands-on experience in the administration and operation of Microsoft cloud security services.
- Strong expertise in at least two of the following areas:
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
- Microsoft Purview
- Good understanding of Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud architectures.
- Practical experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment.
- Confident written and spoken English.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud security posture management and compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of Microsoft security and compliance best practices.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Security Operations Analyst Associate, or Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate.
- Experience working closely with SOC, Security Engineering, Infrastructure, or Cloud teams.
