Job description
Seeking a Network Engineer I to support infrastructure sustainment and network operations for high-performance computing (HPC) environments across multiple secure sites. The role supports enterprise security boundaries, data center virtualization, and classified network operations.
Key Responsibilities
● Support LAN/CAN/MAN network infrastructure and enterprise security architecture ● Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs ● Maintain TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching, and L2/L3 network controls ● Support stateful firewalls, access controls, and packet capture solutions ● Provide Tier 1 network support and participate in on-call rotations ● Track and resolve tasks using Remedy or ticketing systems ● Support virtualization platforms, including VMware and Solaris containers
Qualifications & Requirements
● U.S. Citizenship required ● Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (poly within last 7 years) ● 3+ years network engineering experience (5 years in place of a degree acceptable) ● Data center network design and architecture experience ● Cisco IOS, NX-OS, ASA, TACACS+, VPN/IPSEC experience ● DoD 8570 IAT II certification required
