Job Description:
Candidate has 2 mandates: Monthly Transacting users (MTU): Break and drive each part of the funnel: New user conversion, Repeat user retention, Dormant user reactivation. LTV: Improving the LTV of every user acquired on the platform: frequency building and Cross-sell Roles & Expectations: MTU:Planning & governance of the metric – Breakup of the metric (Cohort, Traffic, Conversion), Inputs which influence the metric and Daily/Weekly trendsSolutioning on Product nudges in discovery behaviours across the entire journey on the appAnalytical framework to understand Traffic breaking by multiple user-segmentsEnd to end ownership: Do what it takes to move the metric by working with stakeholders across Marketing, Comms, Merchandising, Product and Category to move the metricPlan for backup plans if metric is not on Track LTV: Define the LTV across multiple categories Break problem statement into sub-problems and drive it by working with owners of each sub-metric Cohort-wise tracking and solutioning to improve the metric
Preferred Candidate: 3-4 years of post-MBA or 5-6 years of post UG work experience across Management Consulting (or) Consumer strategy / Consumer facing Product in Consumer tech companies First-principled thinking: building hypotheses of factors influencing target metric, learnings from past successful/ failed experiments and designing new solutions. Consumer thinking to design consumer-backward offerings/ purpose-built journeys Data-first thinking to interpret trends and conclude insights post bias-removal. Should have a P&L thought process, trade-offs that need to be made and impact of various decision Strong execution rigour - bias for action while also being comfortable in ambiguous environments Ability to effectively communicate across stakeholders across functions and positions Has worked in a cross functional environment having managed stakeholders including peers, seniors, juniors on whom there is high dependency to deliver one’s own goals
