Job description

In support of Network/Cyberspace Operations mission, conduct and perform configuration and service asset management across the enterprise. Manages the operations of the IT procurement and inventory management function. Manages the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software. Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Tracks quality throughout the product lifetime.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

- Orchestrate enterprise accomplishment by engaging with personnel at the 83 and 561 NOSs and the 690 and 691 COSs. The task includes:

- Processing, reviewing, categorizing, documenting and working with stakeholders to ensure configuration items required to deliver IT services, including their relationships, are captured.

- Use CMDB for tracking hardware, software and configuration attributes for 690 COG controlled assets and devices. This task includes:

- Tracking and reporting all hardware and software assets that support 690 COG operations in the CMDB.

- Ensure CMDB contains product descriptive information and nomenclature, license, warranty and lifecycle management information, avenues for product support, weapon system categorization, specified baseline configurations, as well as current configuration attributes.

Education & Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree, and/or 5+ years of related experience

Certifications

  • Desired: IAM I: Security + CE

Security Clearance

  • Top Secret

Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)

- IAM II = CASP+, CAP, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC.

- Shift – Days. This is a 24/7/365 mission and extended hours/days may be required.
