Midas Coders League is an onsite coding challenge exclusively for Computer Engineering students across all academic years.
We're looking for students who genuinely love coding, enjoy solving tough problems, and are ready to put their skills to the test.
The Challenge 🏆 Selected applicants will be invited to the Midas office. You'll take on challenging coding problems, compete alongside the brightest coders, and spend the day getting to know our Engineering teams.
What's in it for you? ✨
Exciting prizes: MacBook Pro M5, iPad Pro and AirPods Max for the top 3 performers. Future opportunities: This could be the beginning of your journey at Midas, with the potential to move forward into part-time or full-time opportunities. Meet the people behind Midas: Get to know our engineers, learn what they're building, and experience our engineering culture firsthand.
If you:
- Approach complex problems with first principles thinking - digging into the root cause rather than settling for the obvious answer,
- Are eager to understand how your work creates value beyond the code itself,
- Find yourself coding, experimenting, or exploring technical challenges simply because you enjoy it,
Then, Midas Coders League is the place for you.
Why work at Midas
- Culture: Described as a fast-growing fintech with a flat hierarchy and a focus on ownership. However, Glassdoor-style ratings are low (2.0/5.0 based on 3 reviews) – take with caution. The large number of ex-employees from top Turkish tech companies (Trendyol, Getir, Papara) suggests a competitive talent environment.
- Remote/Hybrid Policy: Not explicitly stated, but offices in Istanbul (Uskudar and Üsküdar). Likely hybrid given the tech-heavy workforce.
- Engineering Culture: Strong emphasis on modern tools (Kubernetes, GitOps, observability stack). Engineering makes up ~43% of the workforce (149 out of 350). Active hiring for senior and lead engineering roles.
- Perks: Not detailed, but as a well-funded Series B company, likely offers competitive compensation (4.0/5.0 compensation rating) and equity.
