Job description
At Midas, we are working on real-life user needs to transform the world of finance. We’ve transformed investing in Turkey by delivering a seamless experience for everyday investors. Today, 4 million users invest with Midas. Backed by an $80M Series B, the largest fintech investment ever in Turkey, we are scaling faster than ever.
What You’ll Do
- Perform data and product analysis from both technical and business perspectives; measure user behavior to identify improvement areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define new features, conduct feature testing, and support product decisions.
- Create and maintain product documentation, including feature specifications, benchmarks, and reports.
- Act as a layer between product, engineering, design, support teams, and external partners.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis for new products; assist in executing product strategies and roadmaps.
- Set up, manage, and improve standards and procedures for CX & CS operations; create a roadmap to optimize workflows.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a strong interest in building a career in Product.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and extract meaningful insights using tools like Jira, Confluence, Tableau, and Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis methods, including SQL and Python.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, support, brokerage, and marketing.
- Solid understanding of the development lifecycle — from initial user requests to production rollout — and the role different systems play throughout the process.
Why work at Midas
- Culture: Described as a fast-growing fintech with a flat hierarchy and a focus on ownership. However, Glassdoor-style ratings are low (2.0/5.0 based on 3 reviews) – take with caution. The large number of ex-employees from top Turkish tech companies (Trendyol, Getir, Papara) suggests a competitive talent environment.
- Remote/Hybrid Policy: Not explicitly stated, but offices in Istanbul (Uskudar and Üsküdar). Likely hybrid given the tech-heavy workforce.
- Engineering Culture: Strong emphasis on modern tools (Kubernetes, GitOps, observability stack). Engineering makes up ~43% of the workforce (149 out of 350). Active hiring for senior and lead engineering roles.
- Perks: Not detailed, but as a well-funded Series B company, likely offers competitive compensation (4.0/5.0 compensation rating) and equity.
