Job description

About monday.com monday.com is the AI work platform powering the most ambitious teams. 250,000+ customers across departments use us to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform where AI doesn’t just assist, it executes. We move fast, build things that matter, and foster an ownership-driven culture where you’re empowered to shape how organizations work and outpace their competition.

About the team

The Notetaker team is building the next generation of meetings at monday.com. We’re taking meetings beyond recording, transcription, and summaries. We’re building an AI-native experience that understands conversations across audio, video, and organizational context, and turns that understanding into action. We’re building the layer that connects meetings with monday.com’s agentic ecosystem, enabling the work people discuss to be carried forward by agents, autonomously or with people in the loop. We’re also building toward AI becoming part of the meeting itself, bringing real-time context, insights, guidance, and agents into the conversation. To get there, we work at the edge of multimodal AI, speech and video intelligence, real-time AI, context engineering, LLMs, and autonomous agents. We’re looking for engineers who are passionate about AI, move fast with the technology, and want to help build what meetings become next.

About the role

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated strong technical skills building full-stack applications end-to-end
  • Build AI systems that turn meetings into context, embeddings and retrieval, actions, and agentic execution.
  • Work hands-on with advanced models across LLMs, audio, video, multimodal understanding, and agents.
  • Build real-time AI experiences and agentic flows that move work from conversation to execution.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging models and technologies and turn the best capabilities into production experiences at monday.com’s scale.
  • Own complex problems end to end, from research and architecture to production, customer feedback, and iteration.
  • Push our agentic SDLC forward, improving the context, tools, guardrails, and evaluations that enable agents to take on more of the engineering lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Exceptional software engineering fundamentals and experience building complex production systems.
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI technologies, including LLMs, agents, multimodal models, audio, or video.
  • Deep passion for AI and a drive to stay at the forefront of what’s possible, constantly learning, experimenting, and bringing new capabilities into the team.
  • A strong execution mindset: move fast, turn ambiguity into action, and push ambitious ideas all the way from exploration to production.
  • Experience building with AI agents and continuously increasing autonomy across the SDLC.
  • Strong system design skills and experience building modern backend and frontend applications at scale.
  • High ownership, strong product intuition, and the drive to push the technical bar forward rather than settle for how things work today.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to raise the technical bar around you.
