Are You a Good Fit For Us? The Recruiting Intern supports the Talent Acquisition team in identifying, attracting, and engaging top talent for Athena. This role offers hands-on experience in the recruitment process, from posting job openings and sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting onboarding. The intern will contribute to creating a positive candidate experience while learning best recruitment practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with posting job openings across various job boards, social media channels, and internal platforms.
- Support the sourcing process by researching and identifying potential candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and other databases.
- Screen resumes and forward qualified candidates to recruiters or hiring managers.
- Help coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
- Participate in candidate communication, including sending confirmation emails and follow-ups.
- Assist in maintaining and updating applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment spreadsheets.
- Assist with background verification as needed.
- Support new hire onboarding processes, including preparing offer letters and welcome materials.
- Assist with recruitment marketing initiatives to enhance employer branding.
- Provide other administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in recruitment, HR, and talent management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- 6 - 12 month commitment.
